A peartree from New York tragedy given to Grenfell

A seedling from a pear tree that survived the 9/11 attack on New York will be given to the Grenfell Tower community. The pear tree was found in the rubble of the World Trade Centre at Ground Zero. A decision will be made on the future of the Grenfell site by representatives of the bereaved and survivors.
