Creating a Norland Bee superhighway
The Council's sustainability team are promoting a Bee Superhighway Project and it would be great if our Norland community could become a bee superhighway with some lovely pollinator friendly plants and flowers in our gardens, window boxes and on on our roof terraces this summer.
As part of the Bee Superhighway Project residents can apply for their own free wildflower seed pack, to plant in a window box, planter or garden. Contact the Ecology Centre at ecology.centre@rbkc.gov.uk
The sustainability team says: “We are encouraging residents, community groups, businesses and schools to help us create a thriving network of wildflowers and pollinator friendly planting across the borough, no patch is to big or too small.” For more information about the project visit the bee superhighway webpage … bee-superhighway
