Remember the Secret Policeman's Ball

Described as “unmissable” by Time Out, local film maker Margy Kinmonth directed this hilarious documentary in 2004, and it is due to be re released again to celebrate the the 25th anniversary of the Secret Policeman’s Ball in aid of Amnesty International. The documentary film features some of the best British comedians and performers: Stephen Fry, the Monty Python team, Rowan Atkinson, Lenny Henry, Ruby Wax, Alexei Sayle, Dawn French, the Late Terry Jones, Sting, Phil Collins, Jennifer Saunders, Joan Armatrading and Alan Bennett.  

Remember the Secret Policeman’s Ball directed by Margy Kinmonth and produced by Roger Graef, is showing on BBC4 on Tuesday 23rd February at 10pm and on BBC iPlayer anytime.
